Girls Team Takes 3^rd

Boys Team Finishes 8^th

Here are just some of the highlights of what we achieved today.....

- 45 Career Best Times out of 77 swims
- 4 Season Best Times
- 3 School Records (Kristin Taylor in the 100 Fly; Jess Trgovich in the 500 Free; and Kristin Taylor, Jess Trgovic, Molly Handley and Jess Bleiler in the 400 Free Relay)
- 16 times that would have qualified for Districts in 2007
- 17 performances by 13 different athletes that earned a total of 32 Mid Penn medals

Girls Team Completes Best Season Ever at 8-4

Team....we completed the most successful Girls dual meet season in school history today! The Girls Team finished with an 8-4 record, our best ever. It's interesting to note we lost to only two AA public high schools -- Dover and Boiling Springs. Today, we lost to a very good, and deep, Mechanicsburg team, 105-65. Boys, you are an important part of the Girls Team's success. You challenged, encouraged and inspired them each and every day this season.

The Boys team ended the season at 5-7, after losing today (with 7 swimmers) to Mechanicsburg 95-54. I'm actually very pleased with the Boys Team record, considering we swam a number of our meets with 10 or fewer swimmers.

The best part is we WON all of our close meets! What an exciting season. My recollection is we also won the vast majority of our close races as well. As I said after the meet today, you should be extremely proud of your "racing" ability. Your desire to win your races and never giving up were highly commendable.

In today's meets we achieved the following:
- 21 Career Best Times
- 4 Season Best Times
- 24 Mid Penn Qualifying Times
- 1 School Record (Jess T in the 500 Free!)

Please know how honored, and very proud, I am to be considered your "Coach".
