2004/2005 Northern Swim and Dive Team
From the Coach:
What an
exciting 2004-05 season! Through hard work and dedication, we achieved
the following:
- Won
more Boys and Girls dual meets than last year! (Boys 4-7, Girls
- Broke
23 of 26 School Records and 2 Pool Records in place on
- Boys'
team scored more points at Mid Penns than last year…from 24 to 66!
- 74%
of the team achieved a personal best time/score at Mid Penns, with four
Mid Penn All-Stars (1st-6th Place).
- Ashley
McDonald was the Mid Penn and District Champion in girls diving!
- 8
boys and 9 girls qualified for four relays and nine individual events at
Districts!
- Won
two District medals in diving….1st for girls and 4th
for boys!
- At
PIAA States, captured 12th in Boys Diving (Jordan Gift) and 2nd
in Girls Diving (Ashley McDonald)!
We had
a remarkable season, achieving things many thought were impossible.
I want
to thank our graduating seniors for their positive contribution to the Northern
Swimming and Diving program over the years and wish them the very best in
whatever the future holds for them. You certainly left your mark.
I want
to tell the returning swimmers and divers how very optimistic, and excited, I
am about next season!
